"SHE"

Her first touch was inappropriate, her innocence stripped away by an abuser.

Pretending not to care she hid the pain she felt and let men use her.

Her body was her temple but it had been broken into and vandalized.

Her flirty nature is what most saw on the outside but few knew the true pain behind her eyes.

Misjudged and misunderstood only God knew how she truly felt.

The careless lifestyle and all the men, were all just a silent cry for help.

No one knew how many nights she cried so ashamed of all the things she had done.

Knowing she was better than the choices she made and was worth more than a hit and run.

So many nights she cried out asking "God Why Me? GOD, WHAT DID I DO?"

Then she heard him whisper in her ear, "TRUST ME MY DEAR CHILD,

I'm going to use that very pain to heal you."

"Beauty for Ashes" became her motto once she realized it wasn't the end of her story.

The abuse, poor choices and heartache would all be used for God's Glory.

There was beauty in her brokenness that the enemy didn't want her to see,

He fed her guilt and lies keeping her from who God called her to be.

By the Grace of God she’s so much better; still fighting to be free.

I know some of you may not relate to this but I sure can, Cause

“SHE” IS ME!!!

Real growth only comes once fear is removed, once you step outside of the things that keep you in bondage you become a new being. I am so happy to be a witness of Gods transformations in life, I am my sister’s keeper. (4WU)
